Про компанію
Gameloft was founded in December 1999 by Michel Guillemot, one of the five founders of Ubisoft, and is headquartered in Paris. It was listed on Euronext Paris until Vivendi took a majority stake in 2016, and it is now a Vivendi subsidiary.
It makes mobile, PC and console games, many of them on licensed brands. Its catalogue includes Asphalt Legends, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Disney Magic Kingdoms, Despicable Me: Minion Rush, Dragon Mania Legends, March of Empires, Gangstar Vegas, The Oregon Trail and Bluey's Happy Snaps. It also offers advertising and gaming services to businesses.
Gameloft does not publish a headcount on its own site; Wikipedia, citing company reporting, gives 2,366 employees at the end of 2025, down from over 5,000 in 2014. The company's studios page lists studios in Barcelona, Brisbane, Bucharest, Hanoi, Montreal, Paris, Saigon, Sofia, Ukraine and Yogyakarta. Job ads for the Bucharest studio mention gameplay work in C++ and Unreal Engine.
