Salesforce

Salesforce was founded in 1999 by Marc Benioff and colleagues in San Francisco, where it is headquartered in Salesforce Tower. It popularised selling business software as a cloud subscription.

It is best known for its CRM platform - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud - and also owns Slack, Tableau and MuleSoft. Agentforce lets businesses build AI agents on top of their Salesforce data.

Salesforce has offices around the world, with its EMEA headquarters in Dublin and APAC headquarters in Sydney, and runs the Trailhead platform for learning its products.
