TOTVS

TOTVS started in 1983 as Microsiga Software, took the TOTVS name in 2005 and has been listed on the Novo Mercado of B3 since 2006. It is headquartered in São Paulo and is the largest maker of business management software in Brazil.

Its core is ERP for companies of every size, built on the Protheus, RM and Datasul lines and the Fluig platform, with editions for sectors such as retail, manufacturing, agribusiness, construction, education, health and logistics; Protheus is written in its own language, ADVPL. RD Station sells marketing and sales software, the Techfin joint venture with Itaú offers credit and payments to its customers, and in 2025 it bought the retail software maker Linx. It sells through its own branches and a network of franchises across Brazil.

According to its 2026 reference form (Formulário de Referência), TOTVS had 12,880 employees at the end of 2025. Nearly all of them work in Brazil, mostly in the Southeast and the South, with about 300 abroad; it has its own operations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and the US and a development centre in Querétaro, Mexico.
