Про компанію
Uklon launched on 25 March 2010 in Kyiv as a side project of the IT company Evos, founded in 2006 by Dmytro Dubrovskyi, and became the first service in Ukraine for hailing a car from a mobile app. Its founders are listed as Serhii Smus, Vitaliy Dyatlenko, Dmytro Dubrovskyi and Victoria Dubrovska. In 2025 Kyivstar acquired it for US$155 million, and a 2026 job ad describes it as part of the VEON group.
It began as a ride-hailing platform and now runs a multi-service ecosystem: the Uklon Rider and Uklon Driver apps, Uklon Delivery, Uklon Ads and Uklon Travel for bus tickets, along with corporate and fleet tools, payments, maps and anti-fraud systems built in house. Its engineering team works on a microservice architecture and hires .NET engineers.
According to Happy Monday, Uklon has more than 800 people, including over 70 in Uzbekistan; Wikipedia gave 509 for 2022. As of April 2026 the service runs in 27 Ukrainian cities and at the Bukovel resort, plus Tashkent in Uzbekistan. It has two offices, in Kyiv and Tashkent.
