About the workshop
For three years, Grid Dynamics and Google Cloud have hosted a dozen executive workshops on digital experience and commerce across North America. This November, the series returns to New York for the third year.
Shoppers now describe what they want in full sentences, with size, budget, occasion, and delivery constraints, and legacy keyword search can't keep up. Complex queries return zero relevant results, and the shopper leaves.
Production-grade commerce agents address this by interpreting intent, mapping it to catalog data, checking inventory and availability, applying pricing and promotion rules, and orchestrating checkout as a single guided, durable workflow. Enterprises are already deploying these agents with Google AI Search for Commerce, Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX), and Temporal on existing commerce infrastructure.
This workshop covers designing agents that actually run reliably in production while respecting your margin, promotion, and inventory rules. The goal: governed systems built around your commercial policies rather than just another generic "smart" feature. For 2027 planning, the timing question is simple: Does your first agent go live before competitors adopt similar capabilities?
Key takeaways

- Direct access to Google Cloud, Temporal, and Grid Dynamics leaders who design and deploy these systems
