GoTo

GoTo was formed in 2021 when Gojek, the ride-hailing and delivery app started in Jakarta in 2010, merged with the marketplace Tokopedia. It is headquartered in Jakarta and has been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since 2022.

Its on-demand arm Gojek runs rides, food and grocery delivery and parcels in Indonesia and Singapore, and GoTo Financial runs the GoPay wallet, consumer loans and pay-later, and the Midtrans payment gateway and point-of-sale tools for merchants. Since 2024 TikTok has controlled Tokopedia, and GoTo keeps a minority stake in it. According to its website, the platform had 71 million annual transacting users in mid-2026, about 3 million driver-partners and 6.4 million registered merchants.

According to its results for 2025, GoTo and its subsidiaries had 3,553 permanent employees at the end of the year. Most of them work in Jakarta, and its engineers also work from Singapore and Bengaluru.
