About
Infobip was founded in 2006 in Vodnjan, Croatia, and has been headquartered in London since 2009. It became Croatia's first unicorn in 2020 after an investment from One Equity Partners, and it remains privately held; its largest campuses are Pangea in Vodnjan and Alpha Centauri in Zagreb.
It is a communications platform (CPaaS) that lets businesses reach customers over SMS, RCS, WhatsApp and other chat apps, email and voice through one API, directly connected to hundreds of mobile operators. On top of that it builds a cloud contact centre, a customer data platform, journey orchestration, chatbots and AgentOS, its platform for AI agents. It bought OpenMarket in 2020 and the US voice carrier Peerless Network in 2022.
According to its website, Infobip has more than 3,500 employees in over 75 offices on six continents. Its engineering centres are mostly in Croatia (Zagreb, Vodnjan, Split and Rijeka), with more in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo, Tuzla), Serbia, Poland and Slovakia.
