Mastercard

Mastercard is a Delaware company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It owns its corporate headquarters in Purchase, New York, and its principal technology and operations center in O'Fallon, Missouri.

It runs a global payments network and sells the Mastercard, Maestro and Cirrus card brands, Mastercard Move for payments and disbursements, Click to Pay, Mastercard Agent Pay, Mastercard Threat Intelligence, Mastercard In Control and Mastercard Smart Data for commercial customers, and Mastercard Commerce Media. It also owns Vocalink, a real-time account-based payments platform in the U.K.

Mastercard employed approximately 39,800 people as of 31 December 2025, about 70% of them outside the U.S. in more than 90 countries, plus roughly 6,000 contingent workers (2025 Form 10-K). Its careers site names seven tech hubs: Arlington, Dublin, New York City, Pune, the St. Louis area, Sydney and Vancouver.
