monobank

monobank is a Ukrainian mobile bank, the retail product of Universal Bank (NBU licence No. 92 of 1994), built with the mono IT team. The product side is run by mono, a Ukrainian fintech company that has operated since 2017 and belongs to the Fintech-IT Group holding, which its job ads describe as the first Ukrainian fintech unicorn in 2025. Universal Bank is registered at 23 Olenivska Street in Kyiv.

monobank calls itself the first branchless bank in Ukraine. It offers Black, White, Platinum and IRON cards, children's and currency cards, instalments, cash loans, deposits, Banka savings jars, military bonds, international transfers, eSIM, auto and travel insurance, and business accounts with acquiring, QR payments and payment links. The same company also develops Experienza, Base, mono business and the monomarket marketplace.

Neither monobank nor mono publishes a headcount on the pages opened. Engineering vacancies are posted on DOU and on the Universal Bank vacancy portal, and an office-based role is listed at the Kyiv office on Bolsunovska Street with four office days a week.
