Pipedrive

Pipedrive was founded in 2010 in Tallinn, Estonia, by Timo Rein, Urmas Purde, Ragnar Sass, Martin Henk and Martin Tajur, who were salespeople unhappy with the CRM tools of the time. Vista Equity Partners took a majority stake in 2020. Its headquarters is in New York, and it is privately held.

It builds a sales CRM for small and medium-sized businesses: a visual pipeline in the shape of a kanban board, lead management, automation, reporting and dashboards, and a marketplace with more than 500 integrations. Its own pages describe the product as an AI-powered CRM platform.

The company says it has 800+ employees of more than 50 nationalities in 10 offices across 8 countries (company site, 2026); Wikipedia gives about 1,000 for 2025. Engineering sits in Tallinn, Tartu, Prague and Lisbon, and job ads name TypeScript, Node.js and React, with some PHP and Go, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.
