Sentry

Sentry started as an open-source project for tracking errors in applications and grew into a developer-first application monitoring company. It trades under the name Sentry, while the trademark is held by Functional Software, Inc.

It builds the Sentry platform for error monitoring, performance tracing, session replay, profiling and logs, with SDKs for most languages and frameworks, and it develops the code in the open on GitHub. Its backend repository is mainly Python with Django, with a TypeScript front end.

According to its About page, Sentry has 200+ employees in four offices worldwide, listing San Francisco, Vienna and Toronto. The company does not publish a more exact headcount.
