Job description

About the company and team

Manifold a Division of Lyft, whose purpose is to serve and connect. Together, we're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and has the opportunity to thrive.

Manifold produces world-class, award-winning experiences globally, from intimate pop-up activations to complex, multi-faceted conferences and large-scale brand experiences. Production is at the heart of bringing those experiences to life, and we believe great production is built on strong partnerships, thoughtful collaboration, and exceptional execution.

We work closely with our Account, Creative, and Operations teams to partner with our clients throughout the lifecycle of an engagement, often becoming an extension of their team. We take pride in delivering experiences that are not only creatively ambitious, but thoughtfully planned, operationally sound, and executed at a high standard.

What you will do

  • Support live events, brand activations, and conferences from planning through onsite execution and post-event wrap.
  • Work closely with Producers, Account, Creative, Strategy, and Operations, while providing key operational support to the VP of Production.
  • Track project deliverables, timelines, and action items across all phases, including pre-program, live onsite support, and post-program recap.
  • Maintain production schedules, milestone trackers, run-of-show documents, and organized shared folders for clear team access.
  • Assist with tracking estimates, invoices, expenses, purchase orders, and vendor documentation to maintain budget control.
  • Research and source vendors, assist with bids and contracts, and manage basic vendor logistics.
  • Coordinate internal teams, attend client and internal meetings, and capture meeting notes and action items to ensure project progress.
  • Manage freelance staff lists, maintain production templates and trackers, and help establish consistent operational processes.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of production schedules, timelines, run-of-show documents, checklists, and production plans.
  • Flag risks, gaps, and missing information to Lead Producers to help the team address issues early and avoid downstream disruptions.
  • Contribute ideas in brainstorms and team discussions to build production judgment and strengthen program development over time.

What we expect

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, meetings & events, entertainment, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and understand how to prioritize.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving: you see what needs to happen and take action.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the industry.
  • Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours when required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Doesn't wait for instructions; takes initiative, asks questions, and jumps into details.
  • Highly curious and focused on seamlessly organizing the hundreds of small details that make live events successful.
  • Comfortable asking for clarification, following through on commitments, and escalating risks appropriately to avoid surprises.

Nice to have

  • Experience with project management or event production software.
