Founder of Rimac and head of Bugatti Mate Rimac had his personal Bugatti Chiron stolen right from under his office.

• The keys were left in the car, as friends and colleagues of the businessman often take it for a drive.

• The thief came looking for a job but saw the unlocked Bugatti and couldn't resist.

• Within a day he had left the country, driven through Slovenia, and reached Austria, where he was detained at a gas station.

• All this time Mate chased the thief in his Porsche 911, but was never able to catch up with him.
