Microsoft Microsoft has filed a patent for a system that alters live video in near real time: AI agents cut or replace individual words of a speaker, and the speaker's face and mouth movements are adjusted to the new text.

The changes follow preset parameters or the viewer's profile, and the video and audio before and after the changed word are edited for "smooth transitions".

The system can be applied to lectures, presentations, TV shows and sports broadcasts.

Police in the US received an AI that finds a house from a single photo of a room. Coordinates and metadata are not needed. In a demo, it located a house in Charlotte and a villa in Montecito from a photo of a bathroom.

The Raven tool (formerly GeoSpy) from the company Graylark can now geolocate interiors.

You upload a photo of, say, a laundry room, and within seconds a map shows the neighborhood, and next to it an Airbnb listing with the same rooms pops up.
